Annual Events
Each year, we mark the calendar for some special all-church events! These activities are a wonderful time of fellowship and worshipping our great God. As each date draws closer, more details will come via pulpit announcements and email.
Invite-A-Guest Weekend
Families or individuals invite guests from other Apostolic Christian Churches or from the community to join us for Sunday worship, and sometimes additional Saturday or Sunday evening activities. The frequency and timing of these events can vary year to year. As a denomination, we appreciate the opportunity to travel among our churches and meet new brothers and sisters in Christ.
Summer Fellowship Day at Bauer's
Every year, our church family looks forward to Summer Fellowship Day at the Bauer’s — a sunny afternoon filled with good food, laughter, and time together. It’s a chance to slow down, enjoy the warm weather, and connect with one another in a relaxed, welcoming setting. From visiting under the shade trees to watching the kids play in the pool, it’s one of the sweetest highlights of our summer.
Neighborhood BBQ
3–4 times a year, our church family hosts a cheerful Neighborhood BBQ, welcoming friends, neighbors, and anyone who enjoys good food and good fellowship. These gatherings are relaxed, fun, and full of connection — a chance to visit, laugh, and build relationships over a plate of something delicious. Dates and times vary throughout the year, and everyone is invited to stop by and share in the joy of community.
Sunday School Picnic
The Sunday School Picnic is one of our happiest traditions. Each October, our church family gathers for a delicious meal, followed by children’s games, giggles, and activities that make the day shine. Everyone is invited to come enjoy fellowship, fun, and fall sunshine together.
Christmas Caroling
December in Tucson means sunshine instead of snow, but our hearts are full as we Christmas carol to our shut‑ins and nursing home residents. It’s a beautiful chance to share Christ’s love and bring the warmth of the season.
New Year's Eve Celebration (following church service)
Each year, following our New Year’s Eve church service, our church family gathers for a
New Year’s Eve Celebration. It’s a sweet time of fellowship, food, and laughter as we reflect on
God’s blessings and look forward to the year ahead. Everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy the evening together as we step into a brand‑new year with joy and gratitude.
Hebrews 10:24-25
"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
